What is the best toothpaste?
Have you ever considered a toothpaste as a treatment for your teeth and mouth? And yes, I do have an opinion about which toothpaste is the best! For years, I have been using CariFree prescription fluoride toothpaste. When I travel with my dental friends we always have that same tube of toothpaste in our bags. Why?
It is a premium toothpaste made in Oregon and developed by Dr. Kim Kutsch. Dr. Kutsch has dedicated his career to helping patients avoid cavities by re-mapping the bacterial make-up of saliva and strengthening enamel.
Benefits of using CariFree
The benefits I’ve noticed since using CariFree are smoother, whiter teeth with less sensitivity. My teeth just feel cleaner longer.
Key Ingredients Used in CariFree:
Nanohydroxyapatite, a building block of enamel. This medical-grade formulation is sourced from Europe and is “the only nano-hydroxyapatite in the world scrutinized and approved as safe for oral care cosmetics by the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) European authorities.” Nanohydroxyapatite fills in the microscopic dips and divots of your enamel, making it stronger, smoother, and less sensitive.
Xylitol. This sweetener inhibits the ability of strep mutans, a cavity-causing bacteria, to produce that fuzzy plaque that sticks to your teeth.
Other features we love:
High pH of toothpaste. When the mouth’s pH dips down into an acidic pH, it makes for a bacteria-friendly and cavity-promoting environment.
Gentle gel doesn’t damage your tooth enamel, fillings, crowns, or veneers. Teeth that have rough scratches stain quickly and will appear dark.
Comes in three different fluoride formulations: fluoride-free, regular strength, and prescription strength. Used judiciously, fluoride and nanohydroxapatite will reduce your risk for cavities.
Made in the USA. I love that this toothpaste is made in the US and that the raw materials are sourced for safety and effectiveness.
